Martin Warriors (6-1, 3-1) at Lamar Vikings (4-3, 4-0)
· THE SERIES: The Vikings lead the series, 18-7-2, although Martin has won the last three and four of the last five. Lamar also owns a 14-7-1 edge at Cravens Field.
· LAST WEEK: Lamar remained unbeaten in 4-5A with a 21-20 over Bowie, while the Warriors stopped North Crowley, 36-19.
· FAB FIVE?: Lamar hasn’t been 5-0 in district play since 2004.

· THE SERIES: The Volunteers lead the series, 4-0, including the only previous meeting in Weatherford.
· LAST WEEK: Bowie fell short against Lamar, 21-20, while the Kangaroos picked up their first district win of the season by stopping Fort Worth Paschal, 35-10.
· THANKS FOR PLAYING: Weatherford has not beaten an AISD team in 21 years. The Kangaroos edged Martin, 14-10, in 1990.

· THE SERIES: The Colts lead the series, 9-4, and haven’t lost to Paschal since 1966. This will be the first meeting at Cravens Field.
· LAST WEEK: Arlington High routed Sam Houston, 56-0, while Paschal dropped its 14th straight game, 35-10 to Weatherford.
· THE GAMES THAT COUNT: Paschal has lost 12 consecutive district games, and 42 of its last 43. The Panthers’ only success was a 40-21 win over North Crowley in 2009, a team Paschal has already lost to this season.

· LAST WEEK: Sam Houston was trounced by Arlington High last week, 56-0, while North Crowley fell to Martin, 36-19.
· THE TABLES ARE TURNED: After beating both Crowley and North Crowley last season, Sam Houston is in danger of having it returned to them this year. The Texans have already lost to Crowley, 41-34, in the season opener.
